model railway clubs and exhibitions in mid-north region SA

Some of you will know I moved from Sydney to Adelaide (and now to Riverton) in SA. I've had a few ideas relating to railways (both prototype and model) in this area and wondered where there might be any model railway clubs and/or exhibitions held in the mid-north region of South Australia?

I'd rather not duplicate things that are already in place unless there is a good reason to, so if someone can fill in details for my question above I can go from there.

One thing I'd like to do if I keep living in this area (so far that's the plan unless GWA's makes me an excellent offer to shift back to Sydney if/when any new contracts might appear) is look at establishing a model railway exhibition and perhaps if there's enough interest a club. As Riverton has it's large heritage-listed railway station there is already a good level of latent railway history in the area that might form a good starting point.
