Wanted - idea of value for brake handle stamped '40 class'

Postby craigd » Fri Apr 28, 2006 12:42 am

Hi everyone,

I've got an unusual item - it's a brake valve handle with '40 CLASS' stamped on it. Is anyone able to to come up with a legitmate estimate for
it's value as a collectable and very rare piece of NSW railwayana?

Thanks very much if you can assist.

Regards,

Craig.

NSW brake handle stamped '40 CLASS' for sale!

Postby admin » Wed May 03, 2006 11:16 pm

Hi everyone,

Ok so I've decided to sell it. 8-) I'm looking for offers of A$250 or more given it's rarity and heritage value.

Please email me at craigd@lios.apana.org.au contact me with your offers. I will be listing the item on Ebay this weekend if it's not sold in the meantime.

I'm happy to ship the brake handle to anyone outside of Australia if you are prepared to make a genuine offer.

Regards,

Craig.
